Closed or Open Neural Identification

“Do you realize how your arrogance obstructs your awareness?”

More comes to me, even as I think of how to open the gates of knowing with those who won’t. They are psychically closed, always knowing the emptiness of death in their hidden feelings, knowing one’s meaning is ended.

I should learn the art of penetration into the wall of ego’s blocked awareness and vision, but it seems we are embedded in a fixed and arrested neurology, with an identity formed in desire—appetites and expectations of recognition of self importance.

There is something given in the neural “mechanism” that creates a self identification that, as a child matures, reaches a place of crystallization in the ego’s quest for place and identity in time and space—regardless of its validation in content. It’s in the growth and maturity of the organism’s bio-identity, driven by the particular neural character of its DNA, transferred into the present through one’s heirs.

Is there something that can penetrate this identity wall with knowledge, vision, and control? Can it be more flexible in its biological given? Is this perhaps embedded in the origins of one’s species—captured in an obsolete domination of ego heredity?

Can we reach beyond this embedded neural characteristic? Can we evolve into a more open ego formation? Is it possible to embed it with a recognized and acknowledged humility and acceptance of a transitory life of self, dissolving in death and perhaps leaving behind a different neural pathway for others to follow in bringing a greater capacity for more conscious behavior to our species?

Can we alter the neural matrix of our brains to evolve in our capacity to melt the Ego Icebergs of the past?
