Horned by Dilemma.
Another venture with myself. So the question is: ”Does there need to be a questioning in one’s life?”
Emphatically “Yes!”, and emphatically “No!”. Meaning…answers are not going to change anything. But, without direction, my life is meaningless to myself.
What I don’t want to do is to provide a sanctuary for delusion.
The angry man is angry. Is there anything that will change that? Could it have been prevented?
Probably not, given the circumstance and content of life with parents who probably had no pathway to knowing what, nor any knowledge of, the neural character of what they were dealing with in their own given psychological character. In their own personal history, and of their heritage, they too, were trapped in the limited awareness of their time.
This points to what would be possible for human psychological development if the collective community were aware and able to implement psychological training and development for both parents and their children.
We all know where this leads, ie; to the Social order. But, we should also know the impossibility of bringing rational order to a population and social functioning in an irrational dialogue. This is a ‘Damned if you do, and dead if you don’t’ sort of thing. It is the key, the core factor, in the question of the jeopardy of extinction of the human species. Even though ‘we’ have current knowledge of the ‘self’, the social structure doesn’t have the capacity to manage the chaos of the reactions of the undeveloped ‘selves’ of the majority of its populations.
If this is the ‘given’ in the character and nature of the basic limitations of our species in general, why bother? You must try, seek, imagine, dream and create what is possible and needed, because in life you have to keep swimming.
Our sociological limitations and capacities to implement such a program faces the reality that is not directed by rational choice, but by the current circumstance and level of our developing consciousness and the Laws of Nature.
For such a development in the social task to work with the basics of life, they have to be accessible to everyone at once, but then reproduction and breeding also has to be selective and regulated by those who have knowledge and understanding of genetic health in this self awareness as a needed development in regulation and control.
But by whom? By a conscious group or agency with the necessary content, knowledge, wisdom and power that at this point doesn’t exist. If it did it would be attacked and destroyed by the majority of those who do not comprehend it. And without the masses themselves being aware of the difference between belief vs rational knowledge in the neural reality of the human mind, there is little hope.
And so, the circle closes and humanity is unable to meet the problem of rational process and do what is needed to survive.
So aren’t we Horned by a Dilemma?
