Another journey and continuing on with another journal.
I suppose this journaling is all I’ve got at this point in my dying. Not that it matters to those who haven’t discovered the path, but for those of us who have these journals are a mini-record of thoughts and new images of just one individual’s journey on the road of life that would otherwise be wasted in forgotten memories of discovery—understanding the progress of mind developing along the way to what I believe to be the evolutionary meaning of life for the new human species.
I know I may sound arrogant, but it is also true in the sense of rising above our animal self-gratification base of society and the motivation and stimulation of life with a brain that doesn’t play with the mind, which is the new window to look into the self.
No other animal does this. Humans document this evolutionary advancement in self awareness. This is in extreme activity in our world of media and other tools to observe and measure all things. Only some humans take advantage of this and I am one, as crude and undeveloped as I may be. Meanwhile, more than 90% do not use or access this gift of cosmic vision and knowing. So I have some gratification in knowing that some of these things are at the edge of a new awareness in knowing, and will find their use in the present and the future—regardless of our current stage of evolving in current circumstances. Our challenge is for our species to survive.
This place in consciousness does not “make” me happy or optimistic, but it does bring some portion of meaning to my self- indulgent struggle with my life personally. My pain, disappointment, depression, discouragement, are all elements or responses in neural sensitivity of a sentient being that accompanies a human living a physical life. But I can manage all this in acceptance of its embedded nature and the character of being a living organic animal with a brain and body that is responsive to physical life.
Mind awareness also gives me a place on the other journey. The journey of knowing “Itself” in cosmic purpose, and using it and it’s “becoming” to be more available and more able to manifest Itself in our collective awareness, continuing in its becoming the eyes of perception to also enable cosmic consciousness.
This won’t bring happiness and joy, but it will bring meaning and purpose to my existing. It then enables me to better meet and manage my life with an additional skill of a self-conscious mind.
I should like to note that being on this path is not about where one is, but only that one is on it. This new evolutionary skill together with like “minds”, create the new dimension of awareness for all organic life.
