Can I see you without me?
Can I know of life at a distance
Beyond my own eyes?
Some see beyond their own identity,
Some use more than their eyes to see,
Others also see what is beyond knowing’s touch.
What does it mean to reach beyond one’s self?
In the capacity to see someone’s “me”,
Is spirit something beyond vision’s skill?
Does not experience continue on without me?
Please, let me also see beyond matter’s reality,
Or, has my ego blinded me?
