DT’s Bipolar SOTU Speech to the World

“Lots of Learning is Lost in Lavish Language.” David Jackson

“SOTU = Society Out of Touch with the Universe” David Jackson

A summary: “Bloviated blather, blind brainless baloney, bogus, bloated, bottom-feeding bipolar bullshit.” David Jackson

“Remember DT is bipolar and has no need to connect images to rational fact.” David Jackson

Having listened to DT’s bipolar-patriotic-schmooze, I think it’s more significant than I previously thought his impact might be. In his skill of taking all and any feeling based imaging even further into what has become a clouded fantasy, detached from all and everything other than his own delusion, is taking time to become an inevitable collapse of the U.S. government, at the same time undermining the bond of rational trust and coherence among the nations of the global community. The human species is in jeopardy, environmentally, socially, politically and biologically.

Some of what he says puzzles me because he occasionally touches on fragments of ‘truth’ and reality, especially in places where our social process is demanding change, but are not accommodating the reality of the struggle for human existence, especially for those at the bottom ⅓ of our populations. A large portion of the membership of our communities, and on the planet, are not getting their essential needs met, forcing them to meet their lives without.

Then ‘they’ are blamed for the problem. There is no equation of cause when the result is their dire circumstance brought on by unmet basic needs. Those who do have their needs met tend to ignore and deny those who do not.

The equation of social viability is one of balanced attention to, and inclusion of, all. In physics it is called energy equality. What goes in must produce something equal that comes out and visa versa. Third LAW of thermodynamics.

The difficulty with this kind of exclusion is that the excluded go on living…their impact on the environment and resources continues. When their needs are not fulfilled they create dysfunction in the social order and that disrupts functional coherence which creates pathologies like disease, hunger, pollution, overpopulation, emotional angst, loss of resources for basic functions, particularly education, health, and food. It creates ‘racial’ and religious polarization, antisocial behavior and racial violence, etc., etc..

The “members” do not divide from non members.

All social orders are there for the explicit purpose of training, providing basic economic health and provision in order for any group or community to exist. The equation of survival requires that its functioning works, and is successful.

Historically this is where and when ‘wars’ occur, most often in the struggle for resources that are no longer available. The degree of social wellbeing is directly related to how well the social process functions.

Where the needs of the people are not met, rebellion, chaos, violence, anger, polarization, hate, authoritarian dominance, abuse of power and militant force, are all predictable outcomes. The final collapse is just a matter of the limits of endurance, circumstance, pollution, and diminishing resources, especially in creating desperate reactive measures by leadership and in the victims of their neglect.

It was difficult to follow DT’s random journey of touching on buzzword images that idealize reality yet, have no context in his detached sense of reality.

It was also puzzling and frightening watching those who are also taken in by the feelings generated and created by patriotic images that are so distant from truth, knowledge and understanding.

I feel a great social danger. More concerned about this collective response than I am in waiting for his collapse. There is a lot of zealous and self righteous momentum in the leadership and ‘members’ of the social order, especially those holding power and controlling wealth distribution.
