The living thing is getting difficult in body and soul. I’m discouraged by yet another episode of the Israeli /Palestinian conflict. How long will this unceasing display of hate and rage, that leads to the murderous contamination of rational hope of living in peace, continue? There are no rules—applied to the “other”—but to slaughter and destroy the men, women and children, and all that “they” are. It is “Culturepathic” on all sides.
There can be only one outcome to hate and rage and that is Death!
So, how is one to respond to this murderous paradigm, assuming one is not, as yet, contaminated by its viral poison?
There are a few rational leaders who seek to navigate, channel, and limit its viral boundaries, but the territory is now global and interactive without cultural borders. Resistance to the “other” is a “primal/tribal” paradigm, though different in appearance, its foundation comes from a fixed neural expression that is universal in both. It is called domination—contaminating individual egotism, as well as cultural and political group identity.
The expression is “Us and Them”, which identifies an organic directive of the tribal “belonging” of self, in primal terms—subjective “tribal identity”. It is also a force in our identification of self in the equation of “Me and You”. It includes all those psychological engrams and content of one’s neural identification in the functioning “frame” of self in life.
There is nothing simple about the identity factors of the human ego. There are cultural and social expectations, as well as biological imperatives—father, mother, sister, brother, to name a few. The contrast to this would be something like an “orphan”.
This is a universal, organic imperative embedded in the neural matrix of every human animal.
We cannot escape this imperative, but we can learn how to respond to it in a way that serves all of us, including future generations. We can invest in our children by educating them in the neurological character of themselves and others. We can give them the tools they need to distinguish what a healthy relationship looks like between themselves and those who are different, including the degree and extent of the negative effects of neural imbalance, so it can be managed. This cannot take place unless the culture invests in a universal, consciousness development of the child, viewing them as global-tribal members. What we are currently witnessing is the past—forming cultural and religious contrast through brain washing.
In the Israeli / Palestinian circumstance, it is an extremely polarized pathology—out of control and smothered in the judgment of psychological rage.
There are insights and projected solutions, but this is humanity’s cosmic dilemma of having to apply medicine to so many who refuse to drink the healthy nectar of the neurological “Kool Aid”.
Essentially, there is little or no hope for this arcane sociological reaction, especially since the majority of humans refuse to learn and understand the neurological character of themselves and others.
